Why is the wedding in Panama?

Answer

We selected Panama as our wedding destination to ensure that all our loved ones can join us without travel limitations. With visa-free entry for most of our guests, including many of the bride's closest family members, Panama provides a welcoming setting where everyone can celebrate together. The country's vibrant Jewish community and beautiful surroundings make it the perfect backdrop for our special day, allowing us to create cherished memories with all the people we hold dear.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Black Tie Optional — tuxedos are welcome, but a dark suit and tie are just as appropriate. For women, a long gown or a formal cocktail dress is perfect.

What Airport do I fly into?

Answer

Tocumen International Airport (PTY) in Panama City, Panama, which is the main international airport. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK TRAVEL TO PANAMA CITY, FLORIDA BY MISTAKE!

Which Hotel is the Wedding Hotel?

Answer

The wedding party will be staying at the JW Marriot, however we have included other hotels to accommodate every kind of budget and personal circumstance.

Do I need to regsiter with security to go to Shul?

Answer

The wedding planners will be notifying the Jewish Community of Panama of our wedding party’s arrival. You will need to sign up but you will not be required to do a security interview to access Shuls. The link to sign up is https://visitors.centraldsi.com/register We are working to have our own Minaynim and sefer torah at the JW Marriot Monday - Thursday Morning.

What is the Kashrus status of the meals being served?

Answer

In Panama, all kosher institutions are supervised by a singular Kashrus authority, Shevet Ahim Comunidad Hebrea De Panama.

Are the Breakfasts Khalav Yisroel?

Answer

The breakfasts will be Khalav Stam. However Khalav Yisroel alternatives will be available.

Your wedding is in Panama, do I really need to get you a gift?

Answer

No one should feel obligated to get us gifts. Your presence at our simcha is your gift to us.

What is the time difference in Panama.

Answer

The time zone is currently the same as Eastern Standard Time. Please plan accordingly.
