Napa/Sonoma Wineries

Bodega Bay
Some our favorite ocean views can be found just a short drive from Sonoma County (40 minute drive from hotel). Drive along the scenic Russian River towards the coast and take in the views and the beach vibe! Bonus tip: After you hit Bodega Bay, turn south and drive through Marin County back to SF over the... GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE!
Muir Woods National Monument
45 minutes from the hotel and you can be among the redwoods! You may need to book ahead (not sure what the most recent policy is, but it is a holiday weekend). Bonus tip: Drive back to SF over the... GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE!
Pacifica/Half Moon Bay Beaches and Surfing
Half Moon Bay has some of the biggest waves in the world (see: photo) and is the site of an international surfing competition called Mavericks. Pacifica and Half Moon Bay have beautiful views and cool laid back beach vibes. HMB is our favorite beach spot in the Bay Area (no, we don't surf)! Check out the Taco Bell Cantina on the beach in Pacifica (one of the only Taco Bells in the world with a liquor license), or for some local craft beers, we strongly recommend Hop Dogma Brewing and Half Moon Brewing in HMB!
BottleRock Napa Valley

Alice's Restaurant
Take the crazy scenic mountain road called Skyline Drive to a California institution- Alice's Restaurant and grab some roadhouse vibes and maybe see some bikers!
Downtown San Francisco
Really cool city with plenty to see and do if you've never been. Definitely worth checking out.
