Canaan and Jordan first met in Mrs. Meade's fourth grade class in Cedar Bluff, VA. They were the best of friends but sadly throughout the rest of school did not stay close. Canaan and Jordan graduated Richlands High School together in 2016 and both left for college, in different states. The next four years went by and they would talk here and there, but overall they did not keep in touch. In 2020, at the start of the COVID pandemic is when Canaan and Jordan got back in touch. Jordan moved back home, graduated (online) from ETSU with her B.S. in public health, and started to prepare for pharmacy school that following fall. During this time, Canaan had also moved back home to start his moving and storage buisness. This is when the two connected again, through their love of golf. During these first few months most of their dates consisted of golfing. Jordan made a bold move and asked Canaan if he would like to go to Destin, FL with her and her family that June, and Canaan (nervously) agreed. That trip was truly the beginning of forever for them. Who knew that 3 years later, on June 20th, 2023, that they would get engaged in the same place they both starting falling in love.
