Their story began in the most modern way—online! After connecting in early 2021, Camryn and Philip quickly realized they shared more than just common interests; they shared a genuine connection. They started dating in March 2021, and just a month later, Philip received life-changing news: he was diagnosed with cancer. In the midst of uncertainty, they found themselves growing even closer. While Philip was in the hospital, Camryn made frequent trips to Pittsburgh to see him and care for him. His diagnosis meant that he wouldn’t be able to come home until August 2021, but during that time, they stayed connected and supported each other. By August 2021, they were finally able to enjoy the moments they had longed for, spending more time together as they built their relationship through the highs and lows. The journey continued with more memorable moments, and in July 2022, Philip proposed at their favorite lighthouse in Erie, PA. It was the perfect setting for such a special moment—peaceful, intimate, and full of love. With faith at the center of our lives, we’ve navigated both joy and challenges hand in hand. Now, after everything we’ve been through, the day we’ve both been waiting for is finally here!
