We're Getting Married!

Our story begins in April of 2023, at our church’s young adult group. We didn’t know it then, but a simple introduction from a mutual friend would become the start of something beautiful. At first, we were just two people who happened to enjoy the same genre of music, love working with kids, and, much to our own amusement, care about organic food way more than most people our age. For about seven months, we were strictly friends. The kind of friends who always ended up in the same group hangouts. We weren’t looking for anything romantic. But then October of 2023 came. By pure happenstance, or maybe something more intentional, we found ourselves volunteering together in our church’s child care program. Suddenly, every Sunday morning turned into a chance to learn something new about each other. Between story time, snack breaks, and chasing toddlers around, we talked. Really talked. And with every conversation, something subtle began to shift. We both noticed that we were starting to look forward to Sundays for reasons that had less and less to do with the volunteer schedule. So on December 15, 2023, Ollie planned our first date: Painting with a Twist. By the end of the night, it became clear that something real had begun. And truly… the rest is history.
