Hilton Head Island has its own small airport (HHH) that is super easy and accessible! Savannah Airport (SAV) has more flight options and is only a 40 minute drive to HHI.

If you're staying more than 2-3 nights, we'd recommend renting a car to see as much of HHI as possible. Ubers/Lyfts are available but expect longer wait times.
