Giuseppe's Cucina Rustica
Located in downtown SLO (and downtown Pismo Beach), this spot is both a local and tourist favorite. Grab a table and enjoy some homemade pasta or grab a spot at the bar for appetizers or a pizza! If you sit at the bar, make sure you try out a "Flatliner," a SLOcal favorite and a take on the infamous espresso martini.
Taste! Craft Eatery
A treasured favorite for Connor & Camryn- our first date spot! Located between downtown SLO and the venue, Taste! Craft Eatery is a beloved local favorite known for its seasonal, farm-to-table menu highlighting fresh Central Coast ingredients. Grab a table to enjoy thoughtfully prepared small plates and entrées, the warm, modern atmosphere makes it a great spot for both a relaxed meal and a night out in SLO.
Firestone Grill
Famous spot in SLO known for its tri-tip sandwich & other BBQ dishes. The Tri-Tip sandwich is a must, and don't forget to ask for a side of ranch dressing!
Urbane Cafe
A memorable spot for Camryn and her family; during college, Camryn and her dad would grab a quick dinner after her dad's long work days in San Luis Obispo. Urbane Cafe is a casual, go-to stop for fresh, flavorful comfort food. Known for its house-baked bread, Urbane Cafe (also located in nearby Arroyo Grande) is perfect for a quick lunch, easy dinner, or grabbing something delicious on the go while exploring SLO.
Lincoln Market & Deli
A true San Luis Obispo staple, Lincoln Market & Deli is the place to go for great sandwiches and hearty breakfast burritos. This casual, no-frills spot is loved by locals for its generous portions, quick service, and classic deli food. Perfect for a grab-and-go meal or fueling up before a day of exploring SLO.
Scout Coffee Company
Another special spot for Connor & Camryn. Camryn worked at Scout Coffee Co in her later college years, and Connor was a frequent customer stopping by to say hi and study for his accounting CPA exams. If you are in need of a pick-me-up, grab a great cup of local coffee (roasted in SLO!) and homemade pastry. Try a honey cinnamon cappuccino (Camryn's favorite) or a dark iced americano (Connor's favorite) with a dark chocolate raspberry scone.

A local wine bar featuring wine from 26 local and award-winning wineries. This is a great way to try new and local wines, and it is conveniently located in downtown at Hotel SLO! Wines are offered by the taste, half-glass, full glass, or bottle.
Avila Beach
Located in San Luis Obispo, this petite town has some of the best beaches in the county. Lay out on the sand, take a walk on the pier, or enjoy the dogs at "Dog Beach!"
Shell Beach
Connor & Camryn's engagement spot! Nestled along the coast just south of San Luis Obispo, Shell Beach is a charming community known for its rocky coves, coastal bluffs, and ocean views. A peaceful spot for strolling, watching the waves, and catching stunning sunsets (the best we've ever seen!). Easy beach access and scenic walking paths. Free street parking or park at the small parking lot at the end of Peyton Ct. Go south on Shell Beach Rd to check out the bluffs walking trail at Dinosaur Caves Park.
Leaning Pine Arboretum
Located on Cal Poly's campus, this spectacular arboretum is renowned for following the University's unique "Learn By Doing" approach to academic instruction. In true Cal Poly tradition, everything you see in the garden has been designed, built, and maintained by students.
Architecture Graveyard
Also located at Cal Poly, this location is part architectural study, part sculpture garden. Located approximately one mile from the campus in beautiful Poly Canyon, this area has amazing architecture projects built by students (dating from the 1970s to present!).
