We're getting married!

We first met back in 2018, when I went to his house for his birthday party. At the time, I didn’t think much of it, we were both in different relationships. Life moved on, but fate had other plans. In 2020, during the heart of the pandemic, we randomly reconnected before I was heading off to my first year of college at Oklahoma State. We both weren't looking for anything serious, isn't that always how it goes? What started as a casual reunion turned into an unforgettable summer. We spent nearly every day together, and on May 11, 2020, during a sunset cruise on the lake, he asked to make things official. Even with the distance, me at school and him at home, we made it work. I came home as often as I could, and he made many trips up to Oklahoma on weekends just to see me. We’ve shared our fair share of ups and downs, but through it all, we always knew we were made for each other. One of the things that brought us even closer was travel. Early on, we started taking trips together and quickly realized it was something we truly loved sharing. From our first getaway to San Antonio in July 2020, to exploring beautiful places like Hawaii, Mexico, and Greece. Our adventures have given us some of our most cherished memories. In June 2023, we returned to where it all began — San Antonio — and that’s where he got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him. And now after three years of being engaged, we can’t wait to begin the biggest adventure of all, marriage.
