Camryn and Ah’Shun’s story began in the Spring of 2018 at North Carolina Central University, long before either of them realized how important that moment would become. The spark began when a mutual friend of the couple suggested they exchanged numbers. Their first conversations were effortless, the kind that stretch late into the night without either person noticing the time. Soon, they were meeting up between classes, grabbing food, and spending every day together. Over the years, Camryn and Ah’Shun grew side by side through college life, early adulthood, and every challenge and triumph in between. They celebrated graduations, supported each other’s dreams, and built a life filled with warmth, laughter, and shared goals. Their family even grew by four paws—twice—with the addition of their beloved dogs, Blaze and BJ, who quickly became the heart of their home. By 2024, after seven years of loving, learning, and growing together, Ah’Shun knew it was time for the next chapter. He planned the perfect surprise during a “family photoshoot”. On November 10, 2025, surrounded by family Ah’Shun proposed to Camryn holding the ring that symbolized everything they had built since that spring day in 2018.
