For most of her life, Camryn was told she would find her husband at church. Instead, she met him at the exact opposite of church: spring break at South Padre Island. Camryn and Aaron (literally) fell for each other on a crowded beach on March 17, 2015. As Camryn headed home, she received a selfie of Aaron holding a slice of pizza with the text message: "Have you left the island yet?" Despite living over seven hours away from each other, the two hit it off almost immediately, even though Camryn referred to Aaron as "the pizza guy" during the first few days of texting. On March 23, 2015, Aaron asked Camryn to be his girlfriend and a week after that, he drove all the way from Oklahoma City to pick Camryn up from her sorority house in Nacogdoches, Texas. Their first date was at Fuzzy's Taco Shop in "Nacog-nowhere," where they smuggled frozen margaritas back to their hotel room. Aaron was the first to say "I love you" after three months of dating, and after six months, Camryn decided to close the distance by moving from Houston to Oklahoma City. They've accomplished a lot in the two and a half years they've lived together; Camryn returning to college to pursue a degree in nursing, and Aaron enlisting in the Air Force. Aaron proposed to Camryn on their third anniversary in the comfort of their apartment. They are the proud parents of a dog, Rocky, and two cats, Tina and Daisy. Aaron and Camryn's mutual interests include annoying each other, going to the zoo, playing video games, true crime, horror movies, and other nerd paraphernalia.
