Enjoy elegant accommodations, fine dining, a spa, pool and more. About a 20 min drive to the venue and church. This hotel is also nearby the Welcome Drinks and After Party events. Transportation will be provided to and from the wedding reception. PLEASE NOTE: We have a small wedding room block at this hotel with a reduced rate and a 2-night minimum instead of the 3-night minimum that this property normally requires. If the block is filled upon booking, please reach out to us and we can ask for additional rooms! As of Feb. 28, there are no more rooms remaining in our block but feel free to reach out and we can always see if we can add more.

Located right next to the Hyatt Place in Riverhead, the Preston House is a turn-of-the-century 1905 historical home-turned-hotel (previously owned by the first salaried sheriff in Suffolk County). The modern-finished property features a great in-house restaurant that's worth checking out. 1-night minimum, breakfast included and complimentary parking for all guests. Just a few steps from the Long Island Aquarium, Peconic River and Tanger Outlets if you're looking to get some shopping in before or after the wedding festivities. We reccomend checking out Jerry and The Mermaid (just across the street!) for a casual bite. 2-night minimum, breakfast included and complimentary parking for all guests. About a 15 min drive to the venue and church. Transportation will be provided from this hotel to and from the reception. PLEASE NOTE: Our wedding room block at this hotel is now full; however, regularly priced rooms are still available. Additionally, The Preston House & Hotel, located right across the street, is another excellent option (see info for that hotel block above) if you'd like to stay near other guests who have booked at the Hyatt.
Hotel
We don't have a wedding block at this hotel and there will not be transportation provided but it's a good option for anyone who wants to be near the ocean and enjoy the close proximity to town and venue — just 3 minutes by car or 20 minutes by foot.
House Or Rental
For large groups we recommend using Airbnb or Vrbo in Westhampton, Quogue, East Quogue or Hampton Bays.
Flight
John F. Kennedy (JFK), LaGuardia (LGA), & Islip MacArthur (ISP) are the most convenient airports for flying out to Long Island. Once landed, you will either need to take a train, car or bus out to Westhampton. *Traffic can be extensive in the summer, so please factor this into your travel plans/timing!* John F. Kennedy (JFK): If traveling to Westhampton directly from JFK, we recommend taking the JFK AirTrain, which connects directly to the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) at Jamaica Station, which you can take out to Westhampton. Alternatively you can also rent a car (~1.5 hour drive, no traffic). LIRR Schedule: new.mta.info/schedules LaGuardia (LGA): If traveling to Westhampton directly from LaGuardia, we recommend renting a car (~1.5 hour drive, no traffic) or taking a cab to the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) at Jamaica Station, which you can take out to Westhampton. Islip/MacArthur (ISP): Islip is actually the closest to Westhampton ( 35 minute drive, no traffic), and you'll miss the city hustle and bustle, but most flights will require a layover. If you can find one that works, we recommend renting a car from Islip.
Train
Skip the traffic and ride the train like a local! Beer and wine are allowed on the train, so bring plenty of snacks! Average travel time 1.5-2 hours. If you're coming from Manhattan, the LIRR departs from Penn Station. If you're planning to arrive on Friday before our Welcome Party celebration, we highly recommend taking the "Cannonball" train that goes directly out to the Hamptons from Penn Station and skips all other stops. It departs at 4:07pm (track 19) and arrives at Westhampton at approximately 5:40pm. If you're looking to make an extra long weekend, the same train is also available on Thursday at the same time. Rental Car
There are plenty of taxis, Ubers and Lyfts, so a car is not mandatory but here's some info if it's your preference. For those who prefer to drive, the trip from Manhattan to Westhampton takes 2 hours depending on traffic during the summer. Friday afternoons and Sundays are the busiest travel days to and from the Hamptons, so we suggest driving at "off-hours". Please refer to your hotel's website on whether or not parking is available. Parking at public beaches in the Hamptons is only permitted with a beach permit (only available for residents).
Train
"Luxury" coach bus with service to Westhampton from stops across NYC and airports. Convenient and affordable option if the train times do not work with your schedule, but be mindful of traffic if you're traveling at peak times. Average travel time 2-3 hours. If you're coming from Manhattan, the bus has pickups along 3rd Avenue between 96th and 40th Street. Click "view" for information on tickets and scheduling.
Travel Note
If you're traveling from New England, we highly recommend the Cross Sound Ferry to avoid traffic in the NYC metro area. It departs from New London, CT and brings you to Orient Point, NY — the north fork of Long Island — and takes less than an hour drive to the Westhampton area.
