What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony begins at 5:30 PM, and we recommend arriving around 5:00 PM to allow time to park, find your seat, and get settled.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes - Coastal Cocktail It’s semi-formal attire with a coastal twist—think midi or long dresses, elegant jumpsuits, or polished outfits in light, breezy colors. Dressy shoes recommended; no jeans, shorts, or flip-flops.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “plus one,” bring your favorite person! If not, we can’t wait to celebrate with just you.

Are kids welcome?

We love little ones, but please only bring children if they’re named on your invitation.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We will be having a Welcome Party the night before the wedding for out of town guests. More details to come in the Schedule tab!

Is smoking allowed at the St. Simons Lighthouse?

Answer

No. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises of the St. Simons Lighthouse. As a protected historic site, the lighthouse and surrounding grounds are smoke-free to help preserve the property and ensure a comfortable experience for all guests. We kindly ask everyone to respect this policy. Thank you for helping us care for this special place!
