Ceremony starts at 3pm. We recommend arriving at the park by 2:30 so you can sit and make yourselves at home. Pocahontas State Park is a big one but we will be located at the Powhatan Hall with parking and signage to direct you in!
Garden party casual. What does that actually mean? Welp, we want you to feel like yourself and comfy for the aforementioned games. Something you can move in but also makes you feel pretty! Feel free to lean into the "camp" of it all.
Both ceremony and reception will be indoors. We have a banquet hall that can accommodate all of us. Weather permitting, we have some great outdoor space around the hall that we will use for games and merriment.
Your invitation will be address to you and "guest" if you have a plus one. Due to limited space, we cannot accommodate additional guests.
Totally. Bring your kids! They should be included in your invite. There will be indoor and outdoor games. Think elementary school field day and you'll understand the vibe.
No alcohol will be served but there will be plenty of soda, seltzies, and specialty mocktails provided!
We ask that you refrain form taking pictures or videos during the ceremony. We want you to enjoy the moment and be present with us. Once the reception hits, take as many photos and videos as you like!
We did not reserve a hotel block. But we have provided several options, either in the city or closer to the venue, in different price points. Additionally, Pocahontas State Park has several campgrounds if that is your thing. You can find all that info on the Travel page of this site.
