How far is the wedding from Columbus?

Answer

About 40-60 minutes from the Columbus airport. Hocking Hills is generally considered the region between Lancaster and Logan, OH. Our wedding is located in Sugar Grove, on the north-end of Hocking Hills, and is about 40 minutes to the airport. Those who stay in cabins further south in Logan, will have about a 60 minute drive to the airport.

Should we bring the kids?

Answer

Up to you! The entire weekend will be very family friendly. We will have a kids' activity table and friends/family dedicated to providing extra support with keeping kids entertained.

What if I am only staying one night?

Answer

Many of the cabins have a 2-night minimum. If you are staying one night only, a hotel in Lancaster is likely your best option.

What food is provided and what should I bring if staying for several days?

Answer

For those staying at Valley View Cabins beginning July 4, we can check in at 2 p.m. Each cabin (and the lodge) has a hot tub and a full kitchen – including coffee pot, dishes, pots/pans, silverware, etc. While we will be providing several meals, we anticipate you will want to bring some groceries to have coffee, snacks and some breakfast / lunch options on hand. Group dinner will be provided on Thursday, Friday & Saturday. Alcohol will be provided on Friday & Saturday.

Are there any group activities?

Answer

We are finalizing our agenda of optional activities which will include easy, low or no-cost excursions (like hiking and Hocking Hills Winery) and fun classes (fitness and dance). Group transportation will be available for excursions thanks to a fellow girl boss at the Junior Explorer’s Club. Stay tuned for options over the 3-day stay.
