VENUE CHANGE
Answer
Due to reasons beyond our control we had to change our venue. The new venue is located just down the road at Mosswood forest. The address is 88377 Ridiculous Road Veneta, OR 97487. We can no longer accommodate people in cabins. Tent camping only. If you're planning on camping with a family please reach out to us.

Food
Answer
@GetAskewed food cart will be vending food for purchase on Friday all day, Saturday morning until 12 PM, and Sunday morning. We encourage everyone to support the food cart but you are welcome to bring your own food in as well. A family style dinner will be provided on Saturday after the ceremony.

Cabins

Unfortunately, there will be no cabins at the new venue.

Where do I park?
Answer
There is a parking lot on the right side of Ridiculous Road that will be clearly marked. Please park and then walk to the venue. If camping, you are welcome to drive into the venue to drop off your camping gear and then park in the field on Ridiculous Road.

Car camping
Answer
No car camping. Tent only. The parking lot is in a neighbors field so we cannot allow people to sleep in their cars.

bathrooms and showers
Answer
There will be trailers with flushing toilets, showers, and porta potties in the venue.

Dress code
Answer
The ceremony and reception dress code will be casual/fancy. Shorts, short sleeves, and sundresses are acceptable. Plan for hot weather during the day and late afternoon and cooler nights! Bring a sweater, leggings, and socks for the cool evenings. The ground is dirt, gravel, mulch, and grass so wear comfortable flat shoes.

Can I bring my dog?

No, there will be no dogs allowed.

Can I bring my kids?

Yes, kids are welcome! Please email campshobie24@gmail.com and list names of all attendees in your party.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Unfortunately, we are at capacity so unless your invitation specifically says so there will be no plus ones. If the guest list allows later on we will reach out about adding plus ones.

How do I RSVP?

Send an e-mail to campshobie24@gmail.com with the full names of all attendees in your party. Kids are welcome but no plus ones, sorry! If you cannot make it please let us know as well. It will help with getting the overall headcount.

Gifts

In lieu of gifts, we would appreciate contributions toward our honeymoon fund. We are fortunate enough to already have all the physical items we need for our home. Instead, please contribute to our honeymoon fund to help us make it happen! Cash or venmo @shannon-mccoy-5.

Open bar

There will be an open bar from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Saturday after the ceremony. Otherwise, BYOB.

Outdoor activites
Answer
Fern Ridge Lake is located 10 minutes from the venue. Triangle Lake is located 30 minutes from the venue. There are many public beaches in Florence around 50 minutes from the venue.

Load out
Answer
We ask that everyone packs up and heads out of the venue by 1:00 PM on Sunday 7/21/24. The venue is a private property and we would like to leave it as we found it so please clean up after yourselves and pack out all of your trash.

There is power at the venue. We will be bringing many extension cords and will set up a mobile device charging station.

Water
Answer
We will have potable water filling stations at the venue. There will be cups for filling but please bring your refillable water bottles to minimize waste. If you are camping and can bring your own large jugs of water, please do.
