Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will take place at Shelby's family cabin located outside of Douglas, Wyoming. Please enter "JJJ Road" Medicine Bow, Wyoming if using maps.

How do I get to the cabin?

Answer

From Douglas, follow Highway 94 (Esterbrook Road) under the I-25 Overpass and turn right on HWY 91/96. HWY 91 turns left in 3 miles and follow the road for 22 miles and continue on Converse County Route 24 (Cold Springs Road). Continue south and southwest on CR 24 (Cold Springs Road) for about 14 miles to the campground. Continue straight and stay left at the next Y in the road. You will reach a large bend in the road and turn left onto JJJ road. Follow the main road until you see the cabin! Follow HWY 30 (N) from Laramie to Medicine Bow. Take HWY 487 North to Albany County Route 62. Albany County Route 62 continues as Converse County Route 24. Turn right onto JJJ road and follow the road straight to the cabin! We will have signs for the Scott Wedding at every turn on the dirt roads.

Is there cellphone service at the cabin?

Answer

Cell service is very limited and depends on the carrier. Plan ahead to not have service and download/screenshot directions beforehand.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dressy Casual attire is recommended. Please know there will be uneven terrain to walk over in certain areas.

What time should we arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 4:00 pm on Saturday at the latest. The ceremony will begin at 4:30 pm. Parking is limited so we appreciate everyone carpooling! The ceremony will be located up the hill behind the cabin. If needed, we will have vehicles to escort people to the ceremony location.

Absolutely! We can't wait to share our love of the mountains with all the little ones.

What towns are closets to the cabin?

Answer

The cabin is located 55 miles outside of Douglas and 70 miles outside of Casper, Wyoming.

What town is closest to fly in to?

Answer

Denver International Airport is approximately four hours from the cabin.

Where should we find a hotel?

Answer

A hotel block will be available in Douglas, Wyoming for wedding guests. Stay tuned for further details.

Is there room to stay at the cabin?

Answer

Camping and sleeping in the cabin is by invite only as space is limited.

Is there a bathroom/shower at the cabin?

Answer

Unfortunately no...but multiple outhouses will be available. There is running water and a shower house you're able to use daily.

Do I need to bring my own bedding to camp?

Answer

All cabins and tents will have bedding provided. If you have a favorite sleeping bag/camp gear you wish to bring please let us know.

What should I bring camping?

Answer

Please bring layers to accommodate for average weather between 55-80 degrees. Pack a swimsuit and hiking shoes if you wish to hike to the waterfall with us on Friday.

How close is Campbell Creek Campground to the cabin?

Answer

The campground is 5 miles (13 minutes) from the cabin.

What if I have a food allergy?

Answer

If you or anyone in your party has a food allergy, please contact Brady or Shelby ASAP to inform us.

Do we need to bring food for camping?

Answer

We will provide all meals for our wedding party and guests invited to stay with us. If you have special food, snack, drink requests or allergies please let us know.

Is the wedding outdoors?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony will be located outside above the cabin and the cocktail hour/reception will be located in a tent out front. Expect temperatures to range from 50-80 degrees.
