Anita & Raheem met at their friend’s wedding in May 2016. Little did they know that they would be meeting their person that night. The two immediately hit it off, and even decided to go on their first date the very next day to The Winchester Mystery House (Anita loves haunted houses & murder mysteries and Raheem, trying to be cool, suggested they go “sometime”). They both knew that this was something special and began to discover their shared love for experiences & adventures. It started with Raheem making Anita a Bachelor-style date card to ask her to Paint nite. Then Anita planning a glamping trip to Mendocino, and asking Raheem The 36 Questions on the drive (of course). Over the next two and a half years, they continued their adventures – making arts & crafts and learning to sail together at Sierra Camp in Lake Tahoe; honing their skills at Code Names and Telestrations through many game nights with friends; trekking through the jungle in Southeast Asia and eating their weight in fried rice – and throughout all of this, going to every escape room they could find. The most special escape room was last November when Raheem surprised Anita with his own custom clues hidden in the room, culminating in an escape room proposal - and she didn’t suspect it at all! And now their real adventure begins...
