The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal or garden party attire. Think flowy, floral dresses or lots of color for the ladies. Men, a relaxed suit and tie. For our Colorado, hat-wearing friends, feel free to rock them!
Last year at that time, Sugar Lake Lodge was still fully in summer mode. They had 90 degree days and lots of sun. Since it is the time between summer and fall, we can't predict what the weather will be like. We're hoping lots of sunshine and time on the water, but bring some layers, just in case.
The ceremony will be outdoors with an indoor reception. However, there's outdoor spaces to enjoy after the wedding, too.
The goal of our long weekend celebration is to have all of our loved ones in one area to spend this time with. The furthest you will have to travel is by foot from your cabin to the event spaces.
All meals will be provided except lunch on Saturday! If you want to bring your own snacks, most rooms at the lodge will have kitchen options. However, there will be continental breakfast Friday through Sunday. Dinner Thursday night through Saturday night. Lunches on Friday. Let us know your dietary restrictions, but most things have been accounted for.
We love that you want to! However, we have an amazing photographer that will document the whole ceremony, so please be courteous to her and the photos we are hoping to get by keeping your phones away during the ceremony.
Please RSVP on our website by July 1
