FAQs

The Wedding Website of Allison McConville and Nicholas Pelletier
Question

Okay, what's with the whole camp thing?

Answer

We both grew up going to camp in the summers! Boy Scout camp for Nick, and track & field camp for Allie. As adults, we enjoy camping together and want to share the fun with our most loved ones.

Question

I don't want to stay at camp, is there somewhere else I can go?

Answer

Sure! There are local hotels, inns, and Airbnbs in and around Hopewell Junction, NY, close to Camp Kinder Ring. You are welcome to come participate in camp activities if you'd like.

Question

Okay, I'll stay at camp! what should I bring?

Answer

Woo-hoo! Really, anything you would normally bring for an overnight stay at a wedding, PLUS: -Comfy clothes/athleisure to hang around camp and for outdoor activities. -We will have access to the lake, bring your swim-suit! -Extra shoes, sneakers, sandals, etc. -DON'T forget your WEDDING ATTIRE

Question

Can I check-in as a camper on Sunday?

Answer

Yes! You can book your stay for either one night or two. If you come on Sunday and plan to stay overnight, please arrive between 2pm and 4pm. Ceremony starts at 5.

Question

I can't stay over at all, can I just come for the day?

Answer

Of course! For our guests who will not be staying overnight, the ceremony begins at 5pm on Sunday, August 31st, with the reception immediately following. We will see you then.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We're going for a mostly grown-up summer camp vibe, so 21 & up, but there will be a couple kids close to the bride and groom around.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

If you are attending the Welcome BBQ on Saturday, camp-chic is our request. Lightweight collared shirts, khakis/chinos, flowy dresses/skirts/rompers, pastels, florals. As for the Ceremony & Reception on Sunday, the attire is Garden-party Formal. Light-colored suits, or slacks and a sport jacket. Mid/tea/floor-length dresses (jumpsuits are fine, too!). We WILL be moving in between outdoor and indoor spaces so be mindful of your footwear.

Question

Do I need to bring sheets or towels?

Answer

Nope, they will be provided for you.

Question

What about meals?

Answer

No need to leave camp, if you stay with us, you will be provided with breakfast and lunch the day of the wedding. Breakfast Monday morning is also included.

Question

Is there cell-service at camp?

Answer

Sure is! There is full cellular connection at camp, but we hope you'll disconnect for the weekend with us.

Question

I have dietary restrictions/ allergies, can these be accommodated?

Answer

Absolutely! We are already planning on having gluten-free and vegetarian options. If there is something else you want to be sure we know about, you can write it on your RSVP.

Question

What's the parking situation like?

Answer

Parking for everyone, for the whole weekend! Put the keys away till Monday.

For all the days along the way
