When should I RSVP by?

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We are registered at West Elm, Pottery Barn & William Sonoma. We also have cash funds on Zola that you can contribute to.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at The Bates House by 3pm. The ceremony will start at 3:30pm.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are asking for you to come in cocktail attire. Don't feel pressured about dressing to the nines! We would rather you there and comfortable rather than futzing with your clothes!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! There are rooms blocked at The Hilton Garden Inn Stony Brook & Holiday Inn Express Stony Brook. Please click the "Travel" tab to learn more details.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Don't worry! The bride has food allergies too! The menu will be very accommodating to gluten free, vegan, vegetarian and pescatarian diets! If you need any other accommodations, please reach out to us at pictureyourpencil@gmail.com.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! The Bates House has many parking spots and can expand to the lawn to make more space!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Sorry! Unfortunately we are not providing transportation from the hotels to the wedding.
