You will not need to reserve your place in the cabins. There are two types of arrangements at the camp: (1) large bunkhouses which have 10-20 beds inside them and (2) cottages that have more private rooms. We will be using our discretion in assigning sleeping spaces, giving cabin priority to the older folks and those who small children who need the privacy, but will be in touch individually with more information.
As stated, we will be using out discretion to place people in sleeping arrangements. We will assign primarily based on age, relation to the couple, and will keep familial units together (especially those attending with children). We will also take into account proximity to the action, understanding that some attendees are night owls and do not mind being in a louder location. For those who we think will be more keen to stay near the action, we will reach out to confirm.
In each of the private cabins, there will be a bathroom and shower that will be shared with the others staying in that location. For those staying in the bunk houses, there are two large communal bathrooms located on each side of the camp with private shower stalls and toilets.
We will be managing all bookings and will communicate with all attendees your individual/familial costs lodging and food pending a final headcount (please RSVP if you have not done so already!) Roughly, this is what the breakdown will be: Staying in the bunk house (twin bed): $40 per person/night Staying in a private cabin: ~$55 per person/night Children under 2: Free Food and drinks provided Once all of the RSVPs are in, we will reach back out to everyone via email to confirm your housing arrangements, the cost, and the preferred method of payment.
Please see "What to Bring" page. If you're staying with us at the camp: Bed Sheets/Blankets and/or Sleeping Bag (if you are flying in, we will have you covered) Towel for showering or drying off from the lake Toiletries
While we would love to have all of our guests unplug for the weekend, we know for some that may be untenable. Each sleeping space has access to an outlet so you can keep your devices charged. Given the somewhat remote location, cell reception is spotty at best, but there is reliable WiFi. If you are driving or renting a car to get to the weekend, there is plenty of parking available on-site.
We want all our loved ones to be safe and comfortable! Part of the choice in venue was to accommodate people who would like to stay outdoors and socially distant. As long as weather permits, the ceremony will be outside. We encourage those coming indoors to be fully vaccinated and boosted. We also ask that everyone take a rapid or PCR test prior to arriving. We will monitor recommended guidelines related to the pandemic and keep everyone posted should anything change.
It's a summer camp, kids are most welcome! Or if this is a chance for mom and dad to have a getaway, we dig that too! We will do our best to arrange lodging so that the night owls and early bed-timers are staying on different sides of the camp, but at your discretion what is the right choice for your family.
Absolutely! Please select only the "Wedding Ceremony & Reception" on the RSPV page. We are thrilled you can still join us for the day. Arrive and depart as you like.
We love our four-legged friends, but unfortunately the camp has a no-pet policy. But, for those wondering, Chauncey will be attending Saturday's ceremony.
