FAQs

Question

Why does it cost $59 a night (per person) to stay in the cabins?

Answer

The cost covers all of your meals and gives you access to all the summer camp activities that we'll have throughout the weekend. It also helps us with our total wedding budget the more people that stay on campus. Way more bang for your buck than staying at a hotel! Visit the "Lodging" page to book your stay.

Question

How do cabin reservations work?/Who will I be staying with?

Answer

Once you RSVP on our website and book your stay on the "Lodging" page, there will be an option to choose between a 2-night stay, a 1-night stay, and a meals only option. If you choose the meals only option, you are opting to stay off-campus. If you decide to stay 1 or 2 nights, the camp will gather all of the names of who has registered, and then we will make the cabin assignments. We will do our best to group everyone with people they know or with groups who would make great cabin mates!

Question

What is the COVID situation (masks, meals, etc.) for the weekend?

Answer

We totally understand that spending a weekend in cabins with other people might not be something everyone is comfortable with. However we would still love to have you come celebrate with us for the day on May 1st! If you are comfortable staying in cabins for the weekend we will be making the cabin assignments after you book your stay. We will be doing our best to put you with people you know, and with as little people possible. That being said the Camp's policy is that they require their staff to wear masks, and they encourage guests to wear masks indoors when you cannot socially distance. If you are more comfortable wearing a mask then please feel free to wear a mask, but we will not be forcing people to be wearing a mask the whole weekend as most activities and events will be outdoors. Meals will be served by the staff with masks and gloves instead of self service.

Question

Why are you having a wedding at a camp?

Answer

Because we love camp culture! Both of our families vacation in upstate NY every year and love the outdoors. It only seemed right to have our wedding over a 3 day weekend in the Pocono mountains with all our favorite people around!

Question

Do I have to bring my own food/drink for the weekend?

Answer

If you stay overnight in our venue cabins, all your meals are provided. If you'd like to bring your own snacks or adult beverages, you are more than welcome.

Question

Do I need to bring my own bedding/towels?

Answer

Linens, pillows, and towels are provided in each cabin. Unless you're flying, you are encouraged to bring your own blankets.

Question

I have a food allergy, will there be accommodations for me?

Answer

Yes! When you RSVP please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions and the Camp Chef will have food made especially for you at each mealtime. They are widely known for being a camp that is exceptionally accommodating of dietary needs and allergies, especially gluten free options. However, you are welcome to bring any food or snacks you need for the weekend.

Question

Do the cabins have A/C?

Answer

YES! All cabins have air conditioning for optimal comfort.

Question

Is there a "Meals only" option if I stay off campus?

Answer

Yes, this option is $49 per guest for the weekend. However, the best bang for your buck is to stay overnight in the wedding venue cabins. Not to mention, staying overnight helps us with our overall wedding budget.

Question

Can we join in the summer camp activities if we stay off campus?

Answer

Yes, everyone is welcome to join in on the summer camp activities! However, if you would like to join us for meals, you will have to pay for the "Meals Only Option" on our "Lodging" page.
