So many reasons… but in short, we really just wanted to create an entire wedding weekend full of memories with all of our favorite people at a lakeside retreat complete with fun activities, amazing food, and carefree party vibes.
Unfortunately, we do not have any hotel recommendations besides staying with us at Camp Cody for a fee. There are Airbnbs around if you do choose to go that route but really hope you choose to stay and "camp" with us!
To RSVP, click the RSVP tab and type the name listed on your invitation. This tab will be added once invites are sent in June 2025.
Of course! If you can't make it for the whole weekend, you’ll be able to RSVP for just the ceremony & reception. We’re just happy to have everyone come to whatever they’re able to, whenever.
- Accommodations in the onsite cabins - Breakfast during your stay - All recreational activities - A guaranteed great time
(These are optional of course, but just throwing out some ideas!) - Extra snacks and beverages - while all meals will be provided, please feel free to bring your favorite (nut-free) snacks, non-alcoholic drinks and adult bevs for your cabin and throughout the day. - A cooler for all those drinks! - Lawn games/your own sports equipment (any pickleball players out there?) - Board games if you have any favorites! - Weather-appropriate clothing (who knows, it could be hot, cool, or rainy that weekend) - A twin mattress topper if you like a soft bed - Anything else to make your stay more enjoyable (sunscreen, bug spray, comfy shoes, hairdryer, extra pillows, etc.)
We love your little ones! However, unless your children are listed on your invitation and when you RSVP, this is an adult-only event. We encourage you to use this weekend as a mini-vacation!
If you received a plus one, your guest's name is listed on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP. Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with family and close friends. Thank you for understanding.
Camp Cody is an actual kid’s summer camp (envision the nostalgia of Parent Trap, but way nicer). The cabins are updated and modern, all with twin-sized bunks that can sleep anywhere from 2-10+ people per cabin, and all are equipped with electricity, heat, hot water, showers and toilets. There is also a large central cabin that has 1-2 person occupancy private rooms, some with larger beds, and multiple shared bathrooms per floor (picture a traditional Bed & Breakfast type stay). We will make the appropriate sleeping arrangements based on our guest list. Most of you can expect to be sharing a cabin with your closest friends and family (don't worry, we won't group you with someone you don't know).
Oh yeah! Drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be provided at all dinners and meals, but feel free to bring a cooler with your fav beverages to enjoy throughout the weekend or in your cabin. While beer, wine and canned cocktails can be openly consumed anywhere on the camp property, NH has strict laws about where hard alcohol is consumed (despite that whole “Live Free or Die” thing) so just don't openly walk around with a handle of Captain - bring some solo cups or a trusty Yeti if you plan on mixing up a drink that didn’t come in a can ;)
We recognize we're probably doing things differently than most weddings you've attended, and that's part of the reason why we're doing it! At the end of the day, we just want a fun, a carefree weekend spent making memories with our favorite people while we officially tie the knot! If you have any other questions/thoughts/concerns or just want to tell us how excited you are to attend, please don't hesitate to reach out to either of us directly by call or text, or send us an email at benandjor@gmail.com.
