Question

How do I get to the wedding ceremony and reception site?

Answer

Luckily, the ceremony and reception site is searchable on Google Maps. To get to the venue please search for either the address or venue name below: 1776 Mountainside Dr, Estes Park, CO 80511 Mountainside Lodge Please carpool as much as possible as parking very close to the venue will be limited.

Question

Where should I park when I arrive at the venue?

Answer

Parking will be available alongside the road leading up to the venue. We will have volunteer parking attendants helping with parking so that we can get to the best spot possible. Elderly guests or anyone needing assistance will be allowed to park near the main cabin. Please make the parking attendants aware of any needs you may have.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

4:30 PM

Question

Are there Ubers in Estes?

Answer

No there are not. There are a few shuttle and cab services listed on the travel section of this site but they are limited! We suggest renting a car or carpooling with a Coloradin if you're flying in for the wedding.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Not a strict one! Dressy-casual is preferred. So, not jeans and sneakers, but no need for a full tux or ball gown. Just remember, we will be outside, so wear appropriate shoes and bring a light jacket if you get cold easily!

Question

Will it be chilly?

Answer

Due to the chance for the weather to be a little chilly we are recommending all of our guests bring a warm coat with them. We will have outdoor propane heaters in the pavilion area and will be providing blankets for anyone who needs them. Additionally, we will have a cabin on-site where people can warm up if needed.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We have limited space, so we ask that you don't bring a plus one unless it's indicated on your RSVP card.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! All kids are accounted for, and should show up when you RSVP.

Question

Will there be a family care room?

Answer

Yes, we will have a room on the bottom floor of the lodge to accommodate parents and their children of any age.

Question

Where is the bathroom?

Answer

Bathrooms are also located in the lodge with the quickest on the bottom level of the lodge. There are additional restrooms on the second floor of the lodge as well.

Question

Do we have a room block?

Answer

We don't! Our recommendation is to stay in the cabins at the YMCA - which did not have a block available. There are over 200 cabins on the property, so we aren't worried about availability. However, if it does sell out, there are other hotel recommendations on the travel section of this site.

Question

Is there a morning after brunch?

Answer

We do not have an official day-after brunch scheduled.
