How do I book my cabin?

Answer

Use the QR code in your invitation to link directly to the booking website. Alternatively, please see the "Travel" section of this website to be directed to the booking website.

Do I need to coordinate with my friends/family before booking?

Answer

Nope! Just reserve your individual spot. We'll handle all the rooming assignments and make sure you're grouped with the right people.

Will I be sharing a cabin with strangers?

Answer

No! We'll be assigning cabins based on friendships and family connections. You'll only be rooming with people you know.

When will I know which cabin I'm in and who my roommates are?

Answer

We'll send out cabin and bunk assignments closer to the wedding date, in early May.

Can I request to room with specific people?

Answer

Absolutely! Please email us at ep.robertson@hotmail.com with your roommate preferences and we'll do our best to accommodate.

How many people will be in each cabin?

It varies! We have cabins that accommodate different group sizes, and we'll match you with an appropriate cabin based on your group.

What are the cabins like?

Answer

Cozy! Evan tried out each mattress to make sure you would all be comfortable. Cabins vary by size and style, but each have a private bathroom and a soft bed to rest. Bed linens and towels will be provided, but please bring your own toiletries. The cabins do not have heating or cooling and it's likely to get chilly at night in May -- we recommend your warmest pj's or sleeping bags to ensure your comfort.

What are the bathroom facilities like?

Each cabin has a full bathroom with shower. Shared cabins have two bathrooms.

What should I bring for the cabin?

Answer

Bed linens and towels are provided, but please bring your own toiletries. Feel free to bring extra blankets / sleeping bags if you're worried about being chilly.

Will there be food?

Answer

Of course! All meals and snacks will be provided from dinner on Friday to breakfast on Sunday. In the RSVP process, you’ll indicate which meals you want to join.

What should I wear on Friday night?

Answer

Friday night is smart casual. Think chinos, slacks, or casual dresses with a button-down, blouse, or sweater. You want to look put-together but comfortable — no need for suits or cocktail dresses! Examples: Women: Sundress, midi skirt with blouse, casual jumpsuit, nice pants with a blouse or sweater Men: Chinos or slacks with a button-down, polo shirt, or sweater. Casual blazer optional.

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Wedding day is formal attire. Women: Cocktail dress, formal jumpsuit, or dressy separates. Think what you'd wear to a nice wedding! Men: Suit and tie (any color). No tuxedo required — a regular suit is perfect.

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Answer

Do not wear stiletto heels. There are a bunch of grassy/dirt areas that you might have to walk in so wear chunky heels or sandals.

Where should I park?

Answer

Camp Mataponi is a car free area however, there is plenty of free parking in a lot across the street. Staff will be standing by to shuttle guests from the lot upon check-in.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome! We just ask that parents step out with little ones if they get fussy during the ceremony--thank you for helping us focus on the "I do's"!

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

We would love for you to take photos throughout the weekend. However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.
