FAQs

Question

Wait....you got married?

Answer

Sure did! Turns out we've finally decided that we aren't too cool for love. We did it under the radar and with a couple friends and family, so this is our opportunity to celebrate!

Question

We are flying in and will be around before/after Camp Comez. Can we crash with you in Portland?

Answer

Duh! We have one spare room, Leon's room, a living room, and backyard if you wanna pitch a tent. We will try and fit as many of you as we can, or can help you with finding cheap lodging options in Portland.

Question

Why are you doing this on a Sunday and Monday night?

Answer

The biggest reason is that the rental fee is 1/3 of the price. Also after a long thought, we wanted to better accommodate our service industry friends who do not get vacation time at their jobs and make their bread and butter on the weekends. We also figured those that are flying out would be here for longer than a weekend and already losing those dates. We really hope that with enough notice our loved ones can work around this!

Question

How do I get you money for Camp Comez?

Answer

Thanks for helping dude! Please go to the "how to contribute" tab. It would be great if everyone who is pitching in for the cabins could get us the money by August 9th when we have to pay the camp.

Question

I wanna go but don't have a car!

Answer

No worries! We will work to coordinate carpools so that everyone can get out there! Just reach out to us!

Question

Can I bring my dog?

Answer

Sorry friends, but Dale is the only dag allowed and we had to really pull some strings for that.

Question

Whats the protocol with libations?

Answer

So it is a bit of a gray area. All alcohol consumed in public needs to be served to you by one of our volunteer bartenders. What I gathered from the woman at Camp Angelos who we are coordinating with is that if you want to bring your own beer/wine just keep it in a cooler in your cabin and pour it into your cup before you leave the cabin. Technically, no liquor bottles can be out in the public but we can have pre-made mix drinks. Basically, keep all your drinks in the cool cups we are making for this (and don't lose your cup!). Have the bartender serve you in it, or if you are making your own drink, do it in your cabin and not in public. That is the rules of our liquor license. No marijuana is "technically" allowed to be consumed on the camp site, so you know what that means. Be smart about your actions and what rules you choose to follow/break. Respect the space and our security deposit. Xoxoxo
