What should I wear?

Answer

Kristen and Brandon request that guests dress in Lakeside Formal Attire. Please keep in mind that the venue is outdoors, where walking on grass and uneven ground will be necessary at times, so we suggest opting for comfortable shoes and skipping the stilettos!

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

Since we are having an intimate wedding, we do not have enough guests to qualify for any local hotel blocks. However, there are many lovely Airbnb and hotel options within the area. Some are available within Bolton Landing, and many more in the surrounding areas, including Lake George and Queensbury. Feeling adventurous? Camp on the property where the wedding will be held! We will provide the tent; just let us know in advance so we can ensure that we bring all the proper gear!

Do you have any driving directions to find the property with ease?

Answer

Most guests will exit I-87 N at Exit 24 onto County Route 11. Proceed along County Route 11 for approximately a half mile. Take the third left onto Hendricks Rd, where signage for both Alderbrook Lodge and Adirondack Extreme Adventure Course will be visible. The Alderbrook Lodge & Chalet property is located approximately half a mile down a dirt road, beyond the adventure course. You cannot miss it once on the private road! Please note that a short part of your journey will involve driving on an unpaved road. Our sedan handled it perfectly fine!

Will there be parking available?

Yes! There will be an attendant on the property that will be directing guests where to park upon arrival.
