FAQs

Question

What should I bring to camp?

Answer

We recommended that you pack towels, toiletries, sunscreen & bug spray, lake/beach/pool attire (swimsuit, sandals, beach towel), comfortable clothes for lawn games, sports, and/or yoga (t-shirt or activewear, sneakers), and a refillable water bottle. Snacks and beverages will be available all weekend long, but you are welcome to bring your own as well.

Question

Do I need to pack my own soccer ball, volleyball, tennis ball, pickleball, etc?

Answer

No! If you want to start up a sports game, ask any available camp counselor, and they will provide you with equipment needed.

Question

Do I have to stay all weekend?

Answer

We'd love for everyone to stay all weekend, but we understand if that isn't feasible. You may choose to stay just one night.

Question

Do I get to choose which type of lodging I stay in?

Answer

Not quite - all housing at Camp Lindenmere is outfitted with modern and comfortable amenities, but some of the single rooms are best suited for guests with accessibility needs or guests with fewer people in their party. We will do our best to accommodate everyone's preferences based on the Camp Accommodations Survey.

Question

How will I know where I'm staying?

Answer

When you arrive on camp, counselors will be waiting to check you in! They will provide you with your room number and key and will be able to answer any questions for you.

Question

Am I going to be lodged with random people in a cabin?

Answer

No! You will only be lodged with your own family and/or guests. The camp can accommodate up to 500 people, so everyone will have plenty of personal space and privacy.

Question

Can you accommodate guests with reduced mobility?

Answer

Yes, ADA accessible rooms are available for guests with reduced mobility. The camp also offers a "Camp Uber" for anyone who needs a ride around the property, aka camp counselors will chauffeur reduced-mobility guests in golfcarts to and from each event.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We want our friends and family who are parents to be able to fully relax and enjoy being a kid at camp again. For that reason, we are limiting our guests to adults who are kids at heart.

Question

Can I bring my dog/cat/hamster/snake?

Answer

Only human family and friends are allowed on camp.

Question

Is there wifi around camp?

Answer

Yes, wifi is available all around the camp grounds.
