Maid of Honor
My baby sissy. From playing barbies to golf cart rides to chats while we brush our teeth, we have had the weird relationship that only sisters could have. My go-to girl since the day she was born, I couldn't imagine anyone else standing next to me on a day like this.
Best Man
I’m SIKED to have my big brother stand next to me. He has always been someone I followed closely. My taste in music, movies, video games, and sports are largely attributable to Sam. Somehow I made myself enjoy scream-o music just so I could be more like him. I have countless unforgettable memories with him, and am looking forward to the ones we will make in the future.
Bridesmaid
Sweet Elizabeth, how I love her so. She has such a huge heart for the Lord and is the most genuinely sweet person I have ever met. We have spent many vacations sharing rooms and having "girl parties" which entail lots of giggles. I am so blessed to have her in my life and can't wait for her to be my sister.
Groomsman
I met Than shortly after moving into the Cotton House during my sophomore year at Mizzou. We share all sorts of interests, but likely bonded the most with our obsession for quoting Lord of the Rings and Hot Rod. We shared a room junior year and spent many evenings out on the balcony, discussing God’s beautiful creation and how we fit into the picture.
Bridesmaid
I will never forget the first text conversation I had with Elaine prior to moving into the dorm freshman year. She told me that she lived on a farm in this tiny little place called Halfway, Missouri and that she had all these goats and chickens. I remember thinking, oh no, she is going to be dusty and dirty and won't keep our suite clean. Boy, was I wrong. On day 5 of living together, I came home to her scrubbing the grout of the bathroom floor on her hands and knees with bleach as a way of coping with her stress. Elaine has the most infectious laughter and energy. You can't help but be happy when you are with her. She is one in a million.
Groomsman
I stumbled into Wyatt’s life in middle school while playing baseball for the “Diamond Devils.” Our determined personalities meshed very well and we found ourselves conquering games like The Magical Quest Starring Mickey Mouse and building helicopters out of balsa wood for the science olympiad. We like each other enough to be freshman roommates where we shared a considerable amount of belly laughter and made countless inside jokes.
Bridesmaid
Camille and I were Resident Assistants together in the dorms during my sophomore year of college and quickly became friends. But what really bonded us was our study abroad trip to Spain and our host mom Carmen. There is no one else I would have rather eaten baby eels and scrabbled eggs with. Camille is incredibly self-less and will have your back through anything. She is full of light and I couldn't imagine my life without her.
Groomsman
Michael may be my cousin, but he is a brother to me in many ways. I can always look forward to the annual Thanksgiving gathering at Omi’s house where we consume excessive amounts of sweet potato casserole, dinner rolls, and whichever pie is in front of us. One of my best memories is when we bathed in the Amazon River and a Caiman (basically an alligator) decided to come check out the situation. There is nothing like bonding over a near death experience!
Bridesmaid
God really knew what He was doing when He brought Grace into my life and I have been thanking Him every day since. Grace is pure joy and goodness. She would always show up at my room on a random evening just to say hello. She is thoughtful in everything she does and is beautiful inside and out. I wouldn't be who I am today without her so of course, I needed her standing next to me.
Groomsman
Ridley and I became close friends throughout high school by attending Young Life and going to camp in Colorado and Georgia. He lived across the hall from Wyatt and me during freshman year and eventually moved into Cotton House junior year. Ridley has been an amazing constant in my life, I’m especially impressed by his ability to destroy me in Super Smash Bros every single game. I suppose some things will never change.
Flower Girl
My sweet little baby. I can't describe to you the relationship Abigail and I have or how much it means to me. Even at 7 years old, she is one of the biggest sources of joy in my life. We have spent countless hours together playing barbies, having nerf gun wars, coloring, swimming, and having water balloon fights. She is my little sidekick. I cannot wait to see where her big heart, sharp mind, and quick wit takes her in this world, but mostly, I cannot wait for her to be my baby sister. I could not imagine a more perfect flower girl.
Ring Bearer
Baby Gabe is the second youngest addition to the Weather’s household (My mom’s side). Few children can tout his level of cuteness. I’m very excited to have our little cousin walk the rings down the aisle!
