Fiumicino Airport (FCO) Rome

Fly into Rome (FCO) and Petritoli is three hours to the east. (There is also a small airport in Ancona 1 hour north). It is possible to fly into Florence, Naples, Venice, or Milan, however your drive to Petritoli will be extended. Florence 3.5 hrs. Naples 4 hrs. Venice 4.5 hrs. Milan 5.5 hrs. We want this to be as inexpensive for our guests as possible so we are monitoring flights and will have info on deals that other guests are finding. Please reach out to us as you are booking and we will share any current info. Additionally, for those (and we hope this includes everyone!) who are planning on extending their trip to explore other parts of Italy, please feel free to ask for tips or coordination assistance. KEEP IN MIND WHEN PLANNING YOUR FLIGHT THAT YOU WILL ARRIVE IN ROME THE DAY AFTER YOU LEAVE.

Shuttle

Shuttle from Rome to Petritoli

We are working on securing a shuttle bus between Rome and Petritoli. The bus will depart from Rome on Wednesday to accommodate the majority of guests arrival that day, as well as those already in Rome. The drive is approximately 3 hours to Petritoli. We will also be providing a shuttle back to Rome at the conclusion of the weekend. There will be a nominal cost for the shuttle for those who would rather sit back, relax and enjoy the view.

As wonderful as the train system is in Italy, unfortunately the area of Petritoii is not conveniently accessed by train. If the shuttle bus does not fit your schedule, or you would just like to have greater flexibility, renting a car is the most flexible option. We can also help pair folks together so let us know if you are interested in a car share. There are some things to know when renting a car in Italy so please see the FAQ's if planning to do so.

House Or Rental

Palazzo Mannocchi

We've rented the Palazzo Mannocchi from Wednesday September 9th through Sunday September 13th (checkout Monday), with space for all of our guests to stay FREE for as little or as long as they would like. The accommodations are located in the center of the scenic Italian medieval town of Petritoli - with restaurants, coffee shops, wine bars and gelato all within walking distance. (What more could you need?) The palazzo has 36 bedrooms, 19 bathrooms, 8 kitchens, 2 pools, 2 jacuzzi's, numerous terraces, balconies and a rose garden. Family rooms and cribs are available. We feel this is the perfect place to host our family and friends who have traveled so far for our special day. We will have activities organized for those wishing to partake, or you can explore on your own. Children are welcome and we plan to have childcare available during the reception and for some events. We want everyone to have a fantastic and memorable time!
