Despite his goofy demeanor, this charming young man has the tenacity of 300 Spartans. He managed to transform his body from a frail zygote to that of a young athlete in less than a year, while everyone moped about how sad the pandemic was. In addition, when he's not being a lazy teenager, he excels at building war vehicles of mass destruction, or BattleBots to the less initiated, and other nerdy sh!t, such as variety of sciences, useless knowledge, Magic the Gathering (occasionally) and Dungeons & Dragons. He's 100% a go-getter 50% of the time
Erick Campbell
Man of Honor
The bride's younger (or basically twin) brother has been her partner in crime for as long as she can remember. Whether it was tag teaming video games on the N64, sneakily staying up at night to watch anime on Adult Swim, or annoying the heck out of their mother whenever she tried to take a picture, Erick has been by her side, with laughter in his voice and a troll smile on his face. She can imagine no one else, but him to stand with her during this ceremony. And she looks forward to how they will prank their mom during the wedding photos.

Best Man
Big brother and mentor to David, he was the one who taught the groom how to fight, exercise, and have an incredible work ethic. He's one the most reliable and insightful people to bless the couple with his presence, as well as is the one getting stuck with dealing with any mishaps that may occur at the party.
Kerri Beasley

Kerri is the type of friend that will always have your back through thick or thin and she will never retreat from a fight. Despite being the Ultimate Gamer (that can't seem to get started on any actual video games), she is a very pragmatic individual that excels at real world problem solving and organization, which is a great skill to have when you're trying to put out fires you yourself may have started. A bonafide comrade in life, you can always be sure that Kerri will be there in your corner to raise your self-esteem, even if you're being a j@ckass.

There are very few things this man can't do and even then, he will teach himself because he's stubborn as f**k like that. Even with his bad taste in movies and video games as well as his lacking the ability to appreciate any real masterpieces, he's proven himself to be a priceless friend who always brings an incredibly positive mental attitude to any group he's in, uplifting even the most sour of people. Yes, even the likes of David.

The reigning matriarch of her household, Mary is a warrior queen through and through. Confident yet easy-going, she has the ability to make one feel assured and safe in her presence while being a shining example of persistence and perseverance, even in the face of death. Mary has proven herself to be a wonderful wife (by embracing Enrique's borderline obsession with Star Wars and other geek culture) and an exemplary mother of two gremlins (Emma and Ryan), all while staying true to herself. She shows that it is possible to be great at everything and still be a beacon of hope, love and kindness to everyone fortunate enough to be in her company.
Peter Molina

The man, the myth, the legend... Mostly known as such due to his preternatural ability to arrive anywhere at least half an hour late regardless of the time of day. When people speak of chivalry being dead, they do so in ignorance of Pete's knightly ways. Like Don Quixote, he has proven himself to be loyal, fearless, and a wonderful friend and companion, even if he sometimes loses himself to the endless fantastical adventures he creates inside his perfectly cut mohawk.

She's a wild rollercoaster of a person. In that, when you're with her, you're guaranteed to have a crazy fun time and feel like you might have just made the most insane decision of your life, all while you scream at the top of your lungs in joyous terror. One of the most reliable people when sh!t hits the fan, this ball of sunshine will always do what she promises to do, even if the outcome isn't what you expected.

This guy is the living embodiment of the internet, or possibly the original source of all memes. Truly one of the brightest minds of this generation, his genius is only comparable to his kindness and compassion to the extent that he's willing to pardon years of soda and cookie thefts from his own personal stash by the groom. Brian is one of David's, and now Melanie's, closest friends, with or without the tech support.
Emma Lopez
Bridesmaid
She's quite possibly the most gifted young lady to ever grace this land... when she's not being a borderline narcoleptic (a trait she inherited from Mary). To be fair, it takes a lot of energy to be as awesome as Emma, so when she's not power napping like a tired old lady, she's eating whatever junk food she can find to fuel her artistic endeavors. From gymnastics to digital art to karaoke, Emma is a force to be reckoned with all while still carrying herself with beauty, grace, and humility. Just make sure to have a cardboard box nearby, in case she spontaneously transforms into a sleepy hobo.

A great source of encouragement for David when he first started his Personal Trainer career (which David treasures greatly), Luis spurred the groom to continue chasing his dreams despite the negativity surrounding him at the time. He's rather proficient at inspiring others, even IF he doesn't follow his own advice. In actuality, Luis is just here to pay back his debt since David was his emergency Best Man at his own wedding.

While unable to attend, the littles will always be there in spirit. Just imagine four little paws patting your legs under the table as you eat and it would be like they were always there.
