When should I RSVP by?

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be a black-tie optional affair! Tuxedos and floor-length gowns are preferred, but formal suits are also appropriate. We can't wait to see all of our friends and family dressed up in their best digs!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a small parking lot at the venue. We will have a traffic coordinator to assist with the flow of traffic and to direct those who choose to drive. If you do drive, please drive responsibly! We want everyone to celebrate safely! Note that the venue is basically downtown DC, so there will be ample Uber/Lyft options available.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to space limitations, we can't accommodate all of our lovely guests bringing a guest of their own. Therefore, we request that attendance be limited to those named on the invitation. There will be many kind and interesting people at this event so you'll find friends even if you aren't accompanied by one (trust us... we have seen the guest list!)

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Whilst we love little ones, Issy has upwards of 30 of them at the dance studio and is excited to have a weekend solidly settled in the adult world. We hope you understand our preference for a child-free wedding.

What colour are the bridesmaids wearing?

Answer

The bridesmaids will be wearing dark green in case you want to avoid matching. We have also heard you should avoid wearing white to these things... something about tradition, we guess.

Will the wedding be indoors/outdoors?

Answer

The wedding will be indoors for both the ceremony and reception.
