Our paths crossed in the most unexpected of places: Greektown Casino in Detroit. Neither of us are regular gamblers, but a spontaneous Sunday afternoon with friends led us both to the casino. Sitting side-by-side at the electronic roulette gaming table, Zach decided to break the ice with a simple, "Red or black?" Olivia chose red, and Zach's lucky streak began. A winning bet turned into a conversation, a drink, and a few hours of easygoing fun with our friends. Before Olivia left, Zach got her number and texted her right away – sparking a flutter of excitement as Olivia stepped into a hotel elevator. Despite living an hour apart (Zach in Harrison Township and Olivia in Plymouth), we decided to meet again... where else? The casino! Our second date solidified what we both already felt: a comfortable connection and effortless conversation. From that chance encounter at the roulette table, our relationship blossomed. Now, we are happily living together and are SO excited to begin our next chapter together!
