FAQs

Question

Is there a Gift Registry?

Answer

Though no gifts are needed, please see the registry tab for our list. Thank you!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Friday attire is casual and comfortable. If you’re playing in the soccer match, bring a rain coat, athletic clothes, cleats, and a change of shoes & clothes. If you’re spectating, bring a rain coat & warm clothes. Post-match pub attire is a mix of soccer clothes & cozy sweaters. Saturday attire is formal. The wedding is “black tie optional”. If you’re wearing a suit, please wear a dark suit & tie or tuxedo. If you’re wearing a dress, please wear a longer dress, and we recommend some sort of scarf / shawl / cardigan in case you are cold.

Question

When do events happen on Friday?

Answer

If you’re playing soccer, please arrive at Corsham Town FC at 5:30PM. After the match, we will walk (15 min) from the pitch to the Methuen Arms at 7:00 PM. If you aren’t joining for soccer, please arrive at the Methuen Arms at 7:30 PM. Soccer might be rainy/muddy! As a result, please bring a change of clothes & shoes for the Methuen Arms. We’re leaning into the “post-match-pub” vibe :)

Question

When do events happen on Saturday?

Answer

If you are staying in Corsham, the shuttle departs at 2:10 PM from the Methuen Arms If you are organizing your own travel, please arrive at Kin House before 2:45 PM. The ceremony begins at 3:00 PM. Please arrive no earlier than 2:30 PM. The party ends at 1:00 AM. The Methuen Arms shuttle will leave at 11:30 PM and 1:00 AM.

Question

What will the weather be like? Will we be outdoors?

Answer

English weather is unpredictable, but we expect it to be cold and rainy. Weather in early March is typically around 8-13°C (46-55°F). Friday events will include a mix of indoors and outdoors. The soccer players will be outdoors, but spectators do have a covered stand to sit in. However, our default plan will be to walk from the stadium to the pub (~10 mins) which might be a little wet. We recommend bringing a raincoat and/or umbrella. Saturday events will be indoor unless we get lucky! If it's sunny, there's a small chance we hold the ceremony outdoors, but our plan is to hold the entire event inside.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Our wedding is an adult-only event.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer
