FAQs

Question

Why a destination wedding?

Answer

We know it's a commitment - and your effort to be with us means everything. We chose a place that feels meaningful to us, and having you there makes it even more so. If you can't make it, we absolutely understand and still feel your love.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Your presence is the best gift we could receive on our wedding day. We truly have everything we need, so we will not be creating a gift registry.

Question

When and where is the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony will take place at The Wedding Tree in Bridger-Teton National Forest on August 13, 2026. The ceremony will begin at 2:30 PM, we ask that you get there by 2:15 PM.

Question

How do I get to the wedding?

Answer

TBD

Question

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Yes! The dress code for our wedding is cocktail/semi-formal attire. Think midi to maxi length dresses for women, and slacks or suits for men. Please keep in mind there is a short paved gravel trail leading to the wedding tree and the ceremony itself will be in a grassy area. If wearing heels, opt for a chunkier heel. We'll be wearing our cowboy boots!

Question

Is this an indoor or outdoor event?

Answer

The Wedding Tree is completely outdoors in the Bridger-Teton forest. There are no restrooms at the site. The ceremony won't be long, but we recommend that you plan accordingly.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Average temperatures in August range from 70s-80s midday. Expect chillier weather at night and in the mornings, sometimes in the 40s!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that phones and cameras are put away during the ceremony. We want to be present with everyone in this beautiful moment! We will have a photographer to capture everything.
