What type of shoes should I wear?

Answer

Pachaug Cottages has built a stunning pavilion that has a cement floor, however, the grassy landscape surrounding the pavilion may suggest that flat shoes would be more comfortable.

Will my children be invited?

Answer

Although we love your kids like we love you, we ask that the kids stay home. We’d like to enjoy the day and into the night with you and see you dancing and enjoy the time to yourselves as well.

Is the venue indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our venue is primarily outdoors. Our ceremony will be a lake front view with no cover followed by a sit down dinner under the beautifully crafted wooden pavilion. We will provide the bug spray but we suggest a light coat if you’re worried about the evening chill in late September.

Dress code?

Answer

Is cocktail comfy a thing? While we suggest you wear comfy shoes, as most of the partying ground is lawn, we would also love it if you dressed up! Our special day is in later September and completely outdoors.. so maybe bring something to wrap yourself in later on in the day!

Answer

Although, we would love to have your special person there, we are working with a tight number of guests. We ask that you follow the given seats on your invitation accordingly. If you have questions, please direct them to Josie or Aaron within an appropriate amount of time.

Can I take photos?

Answer

The ceremony will be a device-free ceremony. Leave the phones off, on silent, of even in the car, so the crew can do what they do, please. After the ceremony ends, feel free to take as many photos as you’d like!

What’s the parking situation?

Our venue does have parking and an attendant will be at the ready to assist.
