Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

No, but with an “airplane rules” exception and our nieces and nephews. As much as we love your little ones, they are not invited. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us! It’ll be more fun that way :) *Exception* Kids two years-old or younger are welcome. Kids are welcome at the Hapuna Beach Welcome Party.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

June 1st 2025 is the deadline, but please RSVP once you know you’ll be attending so that we can plan our headcount.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Waimea (where the ceremony and reception is taking place) is about 3,000 ft above sea level and can get windy and also feel chilly once the sun sets. The average temperature in August is a high of 77 degrees F and a low of 60 degrees F. There is also a chance that there will be some rain or mist, we’ll make sure to have umbrellas if needed. It will be much warmer down at the Hilton Waikaloa Village where we have our hotel room block and at Hapuna Beach for the welcome event.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is outdoors, and the reception will be under a tent on the lawn. If you get cold easily, we would recommend bringing a light jacket.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. Our theme is colorful, paniolo (Hawai’ian cowboy) chic and we encourage you to lean into the theme. You can look for inspiration here: https://pin.it/21Dthgo18

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

If you want to do activities around the island, we recommend that you rent a car. Ride shares (like Uber or Lyft) are very limited on the island, the easiest way to get around is by car. We are organizing transportation from the Hilton Waikaloa Village to Anna Ranch for our wedding, we encourage people to take the shuttle from the hotel if you are staying there. The roads are very dark at night and can be very dangerous.

Question

Where should I bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

If you would like to get us a wedding gift, please check out our registry on our website. We have a bunch of items we picked out for around our house and to help us start our life together. You can ship gifts directly to our house in NH, the registry is set up to send gifts to us.
