Flying to the Philippines

We recommend flying to the Philippines by flying from a major international airport (such as JFK, ATL, LAX, DFW), laying over in Asia (ICN, NRT, SIN, HKG), and flying into Mactan-Cebu International Airport. If you are having trouble finding a flight, consider searching for a flight from the USA to your layover city separately from your layover city to Cebu. For example, booking separate flights from ATL-ICN and ICN-CEB. Another tip is to search an airline directly. For example, Philippine Airlines and Air Canada have more affordable prices for a flight from ATL-CEB compared to the prices shown on google.

Getting Around the Philippines

1. We recommend you purchase an eSIM prior to leaving the US so you can use cellular data while travelling internationally. 2. For transportation, we suggest you download the app "Grab" (the Philippine version of Uber). It is cheap, safe, and easy to use!
