The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie or a sports coat.
Lake Garda experiences hot, summer weather with temperatures typically ranging between 23°C and 30°C (73°F–86°F). The evenings are pleasant with temperatures averaging around 19°C (66°F).
Our wedding ceremony will be taking place at Basilica di San Giovanni Battista (Via Tarello, 20, 25017 Lonato, Italy) followed by a reception at Corte Francesco (Viale Europa, 76, 25018 Montichiari, Italy).
We will be arranging transportation from a centralized location in Desenzano del Garda that will pick up guests and take them to the ceremony. From there, arranged transportation will drop off guests at the reception and transport them back to the centralized location in Desenzano del Garda at the end of the night. There is also a local taxi service, Taxi Desenzano +39 030 914 1527. There will be parking available at the church and reception location if you prefer and/or have access to a vehicle.
The ceremony will be indoors and the reception will be outdoors.
After the ceremony, the Bride and Groom will be taking photographs for around an hour. Guests can head to the reception location for the aperitivo where small bites and beverages will be served during a cocktail hour.
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.
While we do not have a hotel block, we will be staying at Hotel Piccola Vela (Viale Tommaso dal Molin, 36, 25015 Desenzano del Garda BS, Italy). Feel free to book at the same hotel or at another one in the area. There are also Airbnb options available as well.
