June 14 celebration canceled

We met during our internship. He was the preconstruction intern, and I was the accounting intern. I was the newest intern, so on my first day I had already received emails from a few of the other interns about organizing rides to our intern volunteer day on Friday. After a couple emails, Luke managed to get my number, arrange for us two to carpool, and ask if I wanted any coffee for the drive (smooth moves). Let's just say after meeting officially, we spent less time working and more time coming up with excuses to stop by each other's desks.

I accepted an internship at PCL Construction for the summer of 2018. I noticed Camille after the first day during the on-boarding class. After weeks of waiting she finally started work, but unfortunately never ate lunch in the break room so I couldn't shoot my shot. I quickly jumped at the opportunity to car-pool with her to a volunteer day I saw she was attending. Everything went as planned and, soon there after it became less and less about work.
