August 2020. COVID was doing its thing, which meant college kids were basically befriending anyone within a five-block radius just to maintain some sort of a social life. Enter: the lovely ladies from 1010 and the legends over at The Euc. That's where they met, somewhere between the chaos of making new friends and the uncertainty of, well, everything else that year. And naturally, their first real conversation? A spirited debate about football. She defended her Detroit Lions with the loyalty of someone who clearly hadn't suffered enough yet, while he proudly repped his Green Bay Packers like any self-respecting Wisconsinite would. Despite the NFC North rivalry that should have torn them apart, there was something there. Call it fate, call it poor judgment, either way, they kind of liked each other. Fast forward to October 14th, 2020 (shoutout to Ryan, who shares his birthday with their anniversary, you're welcome!), and they made it official. Throughout college, they naturally fell into their roles as the unofficial Mom and Dad of their friend group, and just kind of ran with it. After graduation, they took the leap and headed to California, where they both landed their big kid jobs and started adulting. Through it all, they remained each other's biggest fans, even when life got real and the to-do lists got longer. Two years later, on December 5th, 2025, Kevin got down on one knee and asked the big question. She said yes (obviously), even though the Detroit Lions have since become an actual threat and their household will forever be divided. Some things never change. This is just the beginning of their story, and they couldn't be more excited to celebrate this next chapter with the people who've been there since 1010, The Euc, and everything in between!
