Take a tour of a giant mirror fabrication facility hiding under the University of Arizona's football stadium. Currently making mirrors for the Giant Magellan Telescope

Sonoran style hot dogs done exceptionally well along with other Mexican staples. Come for the Sonoran dog, stay for the salsa and pepper bar.
eegee's
A local Tucson sandwich shop chain. They make a great spicy deluxe grinder. But really what you come for is the eegee, a shaved ice with fresh fruit drink. We'll have to wait and see what the flavor of the month is in October, but Strawberry-Piña is always a delight
Presta Coffee Roasters
The best coffee in town! Third-wave coffee shop with specialty roasts and a delicious Honey Lavender Late if that's your thing. There are three locations, this one is in a nice Mercado with a great courtyard and a co-located Mexican bakery La Estrella.
