Many of you know the story ... Camille and Joey were introduced by a mutual friend in New York City, but God's plan for us was much more intricate than you'd imagine. They first met 3 days before Joey moved back to his hometown of Columbus, OH. There were two dates in those three days and by the end of the second date, they had a good feeling. Joey moved back to Columbus and they navigated the stages of getting to know one another over daily, and often times, multiple, FaceTime calls. They visited each other every 2-3 weeks and whenever their schedules allowed. Camille and Joey grew up in more-than-similar ways: they were each one of four siblings, Ohio-raised, from Jesus-loving families, ended up at the same beautiful university in Ohio, Miami University, and made the move to New York City right after graduation. They overlapped for 2 years in NYC and for one academic year while at school, but of course, never crossed paths. About nine months into dating, Camille took a leap of faith and moved to Columbus to be in the same city as Joey and pursue their relationship further - yay, no more long distance! And less than 2 months after her move, Joey was down on one knee in Florence, Italy, asking her to be his wife.
