Bride here. Technically I first met Israel running around the CDA church when we were 10, BUT since that doesn't seem to count, we will go with meeting for the real first time at Pleasant View after I started working there. Little did I know, my first day there Israel had eyes for me. (He can still tell me exactly what I was wearing and where he first laid eyes on me) After a few months of no communication, we both started playing in a softball league over the summer. The first night our teams played each other, Israel the pitcher for his team, couldn't stop smiling at me while I was up to bat. I ended up yelling at him for it (typical Camille, I know) Later that evening our teams got into a huge argument, (Israel being center of the encounter) and I felt the need to go up to him and apologize. That moment being the first ever real face to face encounter we had. The following day while hanging out with friends, I got a snapchat request. It was him. A little confused, but curious, I accepted and the next morning I sent him a snap. From that moment on, we have never gone more than just a few hours without communication. It took just days before I knew this man was special, and just weeks to fall head over heels. Our first date was at Tazzeria, where thanks to some expensive Moscow Mules (to kill the nerves) Israel was left with a pretty hefty bill that his friends still make fun of him for. Israel met Lily and Scarlet for the first time on September 15th, 2017 after I surprised him by showing up with them to one of his softball games. I will never forget the look on his face as he came off the field to meet them. Throughout the last two years we have seen challenges, traveled, and experienced more love and joy I think either of us expected for our lives. We got engaged on July 19, 2019 during a surprise beach front family photo session that Israel set up to surprise me with the perfect proposal, and it was! We are so excited to share this next chapter with you all!
