What should I keep in mind for footwear?

Answer

Saturday's ceremony will take place on grass, so we'd recommend some sort of block heel for women planning to wear heels. Reception & after-party will take place between a paved courtyard and indoors.

Will transportation be provided for guests?

Answer

We will be providing a trolley from the Garden District Hotel to the Elm's Mansion at 4:50pm. If you are staying at another hotel, please plan to arrange for your own ride to the ceremony by 5PM. Ubers and Lyfts tend to be ubiquitous and affordable in New Orleans, or if you're feeling adventurous, take the streetcar! It stops right in front of the venue.

Will food be provided at Friday's Welcome Soiree?

Answer

Yes, there will be passed snacks and light bites at Arnaud's. However, we recommend eating dinner beforehand.

What's the food situation at Saturday's reception?

Answer

Dinner will be served buffet-style and there will be no arranged seating. We welcome everyone to eat, drink, and dance throughout the night at your leisure!
