Do you believe in love at first sight? Do you believe in serendipity? Well, we don't mean to be cheesy, but sometimes cheesy is what you get :) It's funny because Frederick doesn't really believe in this romantic fairytale stuff nor does he believe that sometimes things just happen in certain ways. And Camille, well, she believes in almost anything magical-related. So once upon a time, Camille was having fun at a cousin's party. Frederick just got out of work, and was hoping to get ramen with a friend. This friend was also a friend of Camille's cousin, and happened to be at the same party. Long story short, Frederick and Camille met that night, and have been together since. Frederick never got that ramen that night, but (hopefully) got something better instead.

Camille and Frederick love to travel and to go on any adventures, big or small. Fun fact is that they went on a Europe trip just 3 months into their relationship, and Santorini was one of the places that helped solidify their relationship. During the pandemic, of course travel was limited, so their first big trip was a trip to Kona, Hawaii. Camille thought that maybe because they haven't traveled in a while, Frederick was acting weird. Frederick would disappear from time to time, or Camille would just not know where he would be while they were out exploring the beautiful island. On their first full day of exploring, admiring waterfalls, being at awe with volcanoes, and just taking in the beauty of nature, they were ready to go to sleep and do all of it again. It was around 2:30 am, literally right in front of their condo, when Camille turns around and Frederick is on his knee! There were so many views and so many places where he could have proposed, and Frederick was scouting the "perfect" place to do it, which explains all the times he would just disappear. And in the end, the perfect place he chose was when it was just them two. Typical Frederick move. And honestly, he could have proposed anywhere.
