Travel Note
There are no hotels on the beach but plenty of lodging accommodations. If you are wanting to extend your weekend, we would love to see y’all! There are lots of options via Airbnb and Vrbo but there are local companies that handle rentals too. Edisto Realty, Edisto Beach Vacation Rentals, Carolina One Edisto Real Estate and Vacation Rentals, and Edisto Real Estate. There are a few facebook pages where you can find a spot “Edisto Sales and Rentals Realty” and “Edisto Beach Vacation Rentals”.
Flight
The closest airport to fly into is Charleston International Airport (CHS). Renting a car or arranging a car to take you to Edisto may be the easiest option. Once on the island, Ubers are very far and few in between. There is a shuttle service you can arrange with, you can find them online as Edisto Island Shuttle.
