Chad and Camille knew each other at a very early age. Camille started school at St. Clement since she was in Kindergarten, then when she reached 6th grade, Chad joined her class. However, their personalities and group of friends were different at that time so they never spoke to each other. One day while in highschool, Chad decided he wanted to reach out to some old friends from St Clement to regain touch, of who he chose to reach out to Camille through myspace. They ironically realized they lived within walking distance of each other and instantly became best friends and talked to each other every day. On May 15th, 2010, Chad asked Camille to junior prom and it all started from there when they realized there was more between them. They grew up together, supporting each other when getting their first job and through attending college classes. The biggest obstacle reached them when Camille moved to NYC for 2.5 years to attend PA school, through which their relationship remained strong until 3 months before her graduation, when Chad decided to pop the question and Camille said yes! The rest is history.

Chad went to visit Camille on his usual monthly visit to see her in NYC. He expressed his feeling to wanting to tour the Empire State Building since Camille would soon be moving back to MD, so she thought nothing unusual of his request. The night before Chad popped the question, Camille jokingly asked Chad when he was going to propose and out of internal panic he held his composure and didn't allow for Camille to know of his plans for the next day. As they made their way on the subway to the Empire State Building, Camille again thought nothing unusual of the fact that Chad was dressed nicely but with an untucked shirt (trying to hide the ring). When they reached the 86th floor of the building, the view was trully amazing as the city scape of NYC was easily visible. However, being up so high brought on some unexpected cold winds so Camille wanted to quickly go back inside. Chad refused to allow her to do so, put his arm around her as the view was around them, when he asked "Do you want to spend the rest of your life with me?". At that moment was when Camille noticed something was up as she can tell when Chad gets nervous/anxious about something. She then avoided the questioned and continued to point out the view. A frustrated Chad reasked the question, and as soon as Camille agreed, he stepped back and got down on his knee as he pulled out the most beautiful ring. Camille immediately started crying and couldn't believe that this moment was trully happening. She was so caught up in the moment that she forgot to let him slip the ring on her finger after saying yes. That was when they both remembered they were surrounded by people who all started clapping for us. Camille's roommate, Aislinn, was there the entire time taking pictures to capture this very moment. Chad had her go to the Empire State early before the couple arrived in order to remember this moment in photos. It was trully a moment we can never forget.
