Semiformal / Cocktail Tropical Beach Wedding Attire Think feathers, sequins, ruffles, etc.! NOTHING will be too loud or too bright! See Pinterest board below for inspiration. NOTE: It's going to be hot and humid (but our ceremony will not be in any direct sunlight), so dress accordingly. Additionally, both the ceremony and reception are on cobblestones. If you're wearing heels, make sure they are block or wedge heels. https://www.pinterest.com/camillekaynor0355/wedding-attire/
We will be setting sail (about a 60-minute boat ride) for Playa Palmilla - a secluded, white sand beach with a shallow turquoise natural pool. The entire day will be open bar, and lunch will be served once we reach Playa Palmilla. Note: Although the water is shallow in the area (3-5 feet), note that light swimming may be required for access to the beach. For guests not wanting to get in the water, feel free to hang out in the boat! We will be back to Casa de Campo Marina by around 3:00pm. Note: It will be HOT and the sun will be strong - make sure to bring hats, coverups, etc. for sun protection (although there will be areas of shade on the boats). We will be providing sunscreen, bug spray and towels.
Please meet in the Casa de Campo Hotel lobby at 10:00am - shuttles leave at 10:15am sharp. You can also park your golf cart directly at the Marina if easier - please just make sure to arrive by 10:40am. We will be returning to Marina just after 5:00pm, and shuttles will be waiting to take you back to Casa de Campo Hotel.
Shuttles from the Casa de Campo Hotel will depart for Altos de Chavon at 5:15pm. Alternatively, you can park your own golf cart at Altos de Chavon, but please note parking can sometimes bet limited.
