Like many couples, we first met in school, but this isn't your typical 'college sweetheart' story. Rather, we met as adults, in an ancient Greek class taught remotely on Zoom, several years into our seminary degrees, while living 500 miles away from each other in New Orleans and Chattanooga. Joining a study group to help us learn the language, that study group grew smaller and smaller until it was just ... us! Over the course of that semester our conversations soon moved beyond zetas and thetas, and not long after we finally met in person, the spark we had both felt grew into a flame. Cue a year of regular long-distance visits and Zoom date nights, until on New Year's Eve 2026, Ben proposed to Camille at the finish line of the annual midnight race through Central Park in New York. We have since finished Greek and moved on to other classes, but encouraged by our friends and family, and guided through unlikely circumstances by the loving hand of the Good Shepherd, we are overjoyed to start this new chapter of our lives in September of this year. "Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen." (Ephesians 3:20-21)
